this BIG ass ring for my Love.

I became interested in Haiku's after watching and reading numerous haiku's by Sonia Sanchez. With help from my friend comedian/ speaker Sugar Johnson I learned how to write haikus.
At that time, I was engaged and in the process of falling behind on payments on the ring as well starting to look for the wedding ring. The subject that was on my mind at the moment was: I'm broke but I got big dreams for that ring, so I wrote a haiku about it.
